A lot of coaches jump straight in to FACILITATIVE coaching.
This is where you’ve got stuff you’re working on -
You’re writing a book,
You’re getting a new job,
You’re building a business,
You’re making a dream come true…
And we put together a project design with dates and goals, and we break it down with actions and accountability, and checking back in on everything you’re doing… That’s straight up facilitative coaching. And it can be invaluable if you lean in to it.
And I totally get in to this with my clients from the very start of when they sign up with me.
But in order to create LASTING TRANSFORMATION, we need to go a lot deeper.
That’s where ONTOLOGICAL coaching comes in.
While we are working on your projects we are also taking a look at who you are being in the world:
your patterns
your beliefs
your thoughts,
the contexts that you’re inside of
why you are asking this question in the first place,
what is getting in your way...
Getting really high altitude,
getting to really SEE how your fears are actually running your life
and how deep the patterning goes,
the behaviors,
the thoughts...
When you’re IN IT,
I get to be a mirror and reflect
so you can see it
so you can see your blind spots
so you can see what it is that you’re inside of
Then, when you can finally SEE IT
only then do you get the CHOICE.
To step outside of it.
To come from a new context.
To employ new ways of being around it.
And THAT SHIFTS EVERYTHING.
